Backgrounds Online only requires a service agreement and proof of the business (such as the business license, Articles of Incorporation, etc) to get an account set up.

Additionally, there are never any fees to stay signed up with Backgrounds Online. Clients are only ever charged for the searches they run. There are never any monthly, annual or even maintenance fees.

Occasionally and employer or school will outsource verifications to a third party vendor who charges a fee. That fee is then passed on to the client.
