The conduct of a safe and sensible driver is an ideal representation of your business image and interests in the field. Conversely, an employee with a faulty driving record can endanger the public and may present your business with a significant liability risk.

Proper review of an individual’s driving record is essential if the position requires operating a company or private vehicle as part of their essential job duties such as a delivery driver, courier or outside sales.

Driving Records can also determine if your applicant is sufficiently licensed and trained to operate specialized commercial vehicles such as buses or semi-trailer trucks.

In order to complete a satisfactory review of your applicants driving record, we will need a minimum of the following information:

• The applicant’s name as shown on the drivers license
• Date of birth
• Drivers license number
• State of issue

Records are available for all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and outline driving activity for the last three years (depending on the state). A Driving Record will return:

• License class held by applicant
• Current license status
• Any infractions or convictions
• Whether or not the applicant has been in any accidents (depending on the state)
