Statewide criminal background checks typically have a one to three day turnaround time. Researchers utilize three identifiers (applicant’s name, date of birth and Social Security Number) to conduct the search.

This is a very effective search for looking beyond your applicant’s current county of residence and when used in conjunction with a County Level Criminal Background Check, it offers the type of pre-employment screening security your business needs to ensure employee integrity and workplace safety.

Please note, this search has certain limitations which need to be taken into consideration, both when ordering as well as when results are returned:

• Counties are not legally mandated to report their information, which may result delayed or unreported information.
• Crimes recently committed on a county level may not be immediately available at the state level due to administrative reporting and processing times
• Some states have specific reporting limitations, while others simply do not offer statewide criminal searches
