Oklahoma State Laws
Additional State Laws
Oklahoma passed Executive Order 2016-03, which says that state agencies may not include questions about criminal records on job applications unless the position is one for which any type of conviction disqualifies the applicant. State agencies may ask applicants about their criminal history during the interview process.
Employers may not run consumer reports on applicants or employees without first providing a written notice that asks for the individual’s authorization. This notice must include a box the person can check to request a free copy of that report.
