Effective July 1, 2019

Penalties For Violations Of Equal Pay Provisions

House Bill 71 (HB71) creates penalties for employers who willfully violate Wyoming Equal Pay Provisions. Upon conviction, an employer may be:

  • Fined not more than $500.
  • Imprisoned not more than six days.
  • Both of the above.

HB71 goes into effect on July 1, 2019.
