Ban The Box

Senate Bill No. 252 prohibits state employers from including questions about criminal histories on job applications. Employers may inquire about criminal records after extending a conditional offer. That offer can be withdrawn if the prospective employee has a conviction that directly relates to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
